Position: Director of Sales and Marketing

Minutes Solutions is a fast-growing professional minute-taking company based in Toronto,
Canada, that serves a global clientele. We strive to provide the highest-quality, prompt, and
service-friendly minute-taking solutions and to be the preferred choice for any entity that
requires professional minute taking. We service clients in myriad industries including public and
private companies, associations, condo buildings and HOAs, NPOs, charities, and more.

We are on a fast growth path to reinvent a very necessary process internationally by creatively
harnessing talent and technology. We are seeking a proven Director of Sales and Marketing to
work alongside our CEO to oversee our sales and marketing team, revitalize our processes, and
implement new strategies to attract new opportunities. We expect to double in size every two to
three years for the foreseeable future. We need someone who can help us ensure world-class
service as we take our company to the next level and beyond!

We are looking for a person of action, a true leader with insight and dedication to our mission.
The successful candidate will have a penchant for direct sales, channel sales, building and
maintaining strong channel/partner relationships, and recognizing, recruiting, and managing
sales talent.

Objectives of this Role: 

● Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, sales and
marketing growth strategies, and helping with strategic hires
● Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth (KPIs),
organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual sales and
marketing planning
● Develop and lead our marketing campaigns by working closely with clients,
management, and the current sales team to grow our customer base
● Manage development and implementation of marketing plan and strategies, service
concepts, and promotional programs
● Attract new clients through various networks, presentations, and key events to
engage potential new sources of revenue and to promote our established vision
● Adhere to company, provincial, federal, and local business requirements, enforcing
compliance and taking action when necessary
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
● Analyze internal sales and marketing structures and identify areas of improvement
● In tandem with the CEO, develop actionable business strategies that ensure
alignment with short- and long-term objectives
● Build a team of salespeople to onboard new clients – ensuring customer attraction,
satisfaction, and retention
● Tracking sales and marketing performance and establish corrective measures as
needed
● Maintain and build trusted relationships with key clients, employees, and
stakeholders
● Become a valued member of the senior management team

Skills and Qualification: 

● Wide-ranging understanding of technology: you are someone who is up to date on
the most current and emerging tech-based sales and marketing solutions including
lead-generation tools, social media, and UI/UX as it relates to customer interface
and client portals to increase sales
● Several years of experience in executive leadership positions, demonstrated tenure
● Leadership skills including steadfast resolve, communication, and personal integrity
● Understanding of advanced business planning and openness to new ideas
● Creative thinker
● Able to diagnose problems quickly and to foresee potential issues
● Experience related to global sales and marketing an asset
